GENERAL PROGRAMME
"Online teaching: software, hardware and platforms" is a meeting where participants may learn about issues which cause a bad experience on online teaching. It will possible to share personal experiences on clarinet online teaching during the pandemic emergency.

Born in 1976, began to study clarinet with Grazioso Gastaldello. He graduated in the class of prof. Addesso at Venice Conservatoire of Music "Benedetto Marcello" with highest honours. He deepened his study with various teachers such as Antony Pay, Charles Neidich, Thomas Friedli and Edward Brunner. He continued his training with Fabrizio Meloni attending the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala.
He took part in several first performances for the Venice Biennale with the "Laboratorio Novamusica" by Giovanni Mancuso.
He undertook on his own the study of the bass clarinet.
He was selected to participate in the Millennium Gala Tour of EUYO youth orchestra under the direction of Vladimir Ashkenazy. Later began to work as bass clarinet player with the Orchestra of the Accademia di Santa Cecilia, Theatre and the La Scala Philharmonic, the Italian Swiss Radio Orchestra, the Symphony Orchestra of Rome and the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale of RAI National Broadcasting.
In 2005 he won the competition for the role of principal bass clarinet in the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della Rai in which he remained until 2007, when he won the competition for the same role in the Orchestra of the Teatro alla Scala and Filarmonica della Scala.
For his great attention to the history and repertoire of the bass clarinet, in 2010 he founded the C.I.R.C.B. (https://www.circb.info) - International Center for Research On Bass Clarinet. The ICA’s magazine “The Clarinet” wrote: “One of the most exciting bass clarinet projects on the web today" e "These individuals are to be commended for creating a website that is not only an invaluable resource, but also aesthetically pleasing and well-organized. The sheer wealth of information and ease of use only makes us wish for a similar website for the soprano clarinet.
In 2015 he founded the community website bassclarinetwork.com (https://www.bassclarinetwork.com).
In 2016 he founded the International Bass Clarinet Association - I.B.C.A. (https://www.circb.info/ibca).
In 2017 with a group of colleagues he developed the project on bass clarinet classic repertoire "Toward the Empyrean Heaven" (https://www.circb.info/ibca/educational/toward_the_empyrean_heaven.html).
He is a Buffet Group and Silverstein artist and plays Vandoren mouthpiece and reeds.
