Notes
The "Ballad" Op. 23 was composed in 1974 for the "Due Boemi": Josef Horák, bass clarinet, and Emma Kovarnová, piano. The composer's arrangement for basson and piano, Op. 23a, has only a few alterations in the bassoon part, while the piano part is in the same as in the original bass clarinet version.
