I was born in Turin in 1989.
I took my Diploma at Conservatory of Music “G. Cantelli” in Novara, where I took also my degree “Cum Laudae” and publication recommended for the Thesis The Bass Clarinet: history, technological evolution and main work and artists. I took the Master of Arts in Music Performance with full marks at the Hochschule der Künste di Bern (CH), where now I’m attending the Master of Arts in Music Pedagogy.
With the Quatuor Chouette I won the first prize at International Competition “Premio Contea” in Villorba (TV) with mark 100/100.
I‘ve played with symphonic and opera orchestras as Filarmonica ‘900 del Teatro Regio di Torino, Filarmonica del Piemonte, Orchestra Classica Italiana, OperaVox Orchester and HKB Orchester, with conductors as François-Xavier Roth, Gergely Madaras, Ekkehard Klemm, Jos van Immerseel and Valerio Galli.
As bass clarinet of the “I clarinetti del Cantelli” clarinet choir I’ve played in some concerts in partnership with Ministry of Education, Universities and Research (MIUR). With them I’ve recorded also for Radio Vaticana.
With my tango duo I’ve recorded the Live-CD “The Best of Tandem Duo” with works by D. Pujol and A. Piazzolla.
I like to understand how instruments work in mechanism, in particular wind instruments, and know the progressive technological steps of bass clarinet in the history.
